Come with young designer Ollie Pike, as he goes behind-the-scenes to the stonemason’s as the stonework for the garden is crafted from Portland stone.
Ollie’s Psalm 27 Garden takes us from a journey through personal turbulence and distress, to finding reflection and ultimately hope and a more peaceful outlook. This is mirrored in the beautiful Portland stonework within the garden.
It begins rough to mirror the emotions that accompany the difficult times in our lives, and, as we travel, becomes smoother, ultimately being totally smooth, capturing the more peaceful mood at the end of the psalm.
If you’re visiting us at the Show, do look out for this wonderful detail.
