Your support is key to some incredible work bringing the Bible to people in these difficult days. But much of it could come to a halt as local Bible Society teams in as many as 88 nations feel the devastating economic effects of the pandemic.

Plummeting Bible sales and income in 88 countries has meant they face the prospect of no Bible distribution, no vital translation work, no Scripture-based literacy classes, no Bible-based trauma healing. Your support can help keep Bible work alive.

Bible mission around the world

Life-changing work is being done by teams in need of your support as local income streams dry up.

  • Members of prison-based Bible groups in Guatemala in Central America are producing masks for healthcare workers
  • Mission teams in the Persian Gulf are reaching the millions of migrant workers there with Gospel booklets in the Nepali, Tagalog and Telugu languages
  • An interdenominational partnership in Costa Rica is giving out meals and Bibles – food for the body and soul

Nashat Filmon, leading Bible mission in Jerusalem

‘Here in the Holy Land, our team have given out Scripture, medication, masks and food parcels to people in desperate need. So many people want to come close to the Lord but can’t afford to buy a Bible in these circumstances. We’ve been giving out audio Bibles so families can sit together and hear God’s word. You can help with this. Even in this difficult situation, we can reach out together to the unreached and be a light in the midst of the darkness.’

Bible mission teams like Nashat’s are in danger of having to close their doors at a time when their work is most impactful. Will you help maintain this crucial lifeline for people searching for answers?
