Pray for schools

Please pray:

• That children will settle well in their new classes
• For the mental health and wellbeing of children following long periods away from school and their peers
• For the confidence of young people returning to education after exams were disrupted, perhaps having received unexpected results
• For energy and enthusiasm for teachers
• For protection as school leadership and teaching and support staff work tirelessly to follow government guidelines and make the school environment safe for everyone
• For parents and carers as they support the children in their care and adjust to new routines
• For Christian children and adults in education to be courageous witnesses – a light and encouragement to their friends and colleagues

Please pray (specifically for Open the Book):

• For Open the Book volunteers who have sadly lost team members during the pandemic
• For volunteers who are still unable to go back into schools to share Bible stories
• For Open the Book teams working hard to continue the important work of sharing Bible stories in primary schools whilst adhering to government guidelines
