Fundraise for us

Are you passionate about seeing people’s lives transformed by God’s word? You’ve come to the right place.

At Bible Society, we’re on a global mission to bring the Bible to life for every adult and every child. Thank you so much for your interest in supporting our work.

Ideas for Socially Distant Fundraising

In these unprecedented times, many of us are spending more time at home. The whole situation is strange and sometimes scary. If you feel like you want to do more, you could try some home-based challenges and raise some money so we can get it to where it’s most needed at this time.

Plan your challenges

Bake for Bibles

Ready, set, bake! Get your friends, family and church together for some baking fun to raise vital support for Bible mission. You could run your own ‘Bake Off’ competition or sell your bakes! Contact fundraisefor@biblesociety.org.uk today to request a fundraising pack with lots of great tips on raising money through baking.

Bike for Bibles

We’re now over half way through Bike for Bibles 2021 and so far you have raised over £15,000. Thank you. You are amazing!

Getting started

Do a Sponsored Challenge.

Pick a challenge – a hike along the coastal path, a trek through Snowdonia or a cycle along the Comino in Spain. Set up a JustGiving Page and ask friends and family members to sponsor you on your journey!

Celebrate your big day.

Make your age count and pledge your birthday to Bible Society this year. Ask your family and friends for donations in place of gifts.

Donate in memory.

Whether your loved one was a Bible Society supporter or simply loved to see more people reached by God’s Word, giving a donation in their name is a moving way to honour their memory.

Host an event.

How about hosting a barn dance, pub quiz or garden party? Or keep it nice and simple with a film night, music evening or coffee morning. You could even book one of our speakers to come and talk!

Make it yummy.

Who could refuse a sweet treat for a good cause? Food is always a good excuse to bring people together, so why not organise an afternoon tea, bake sale or ice cream making competition?

Get crafty.

Reveal your creative side and show what you’re capable of! Get knitting, sewing or woodcarving! Organise an arts and crafts exhibition in your church or put on a concert with your youth group!

Your own brilliant idea.

Maybe you have an amazing idea which we haven’t suggested yet. If so, go for it! Channel that inner creativity! And don’t forget to check out our resources below to help you get started!
