New Wine Cymru Leaders Conference

Speaking on the topic of ‘The Church on mission in Wales’, Bible Society CEO, Paul Williams, delivered an inspiring and challenging address at the New Wine Cymru Leaders Conference.

On 9 to 10 June 2023 church leaders from across Wales gathered at the New Wine Cymru Leaders Conference to be encouraged and equipped in their work of cultivating churches that do mission well.

In his talk, Paul Williams explored big questions relating to church and mission to identify key elements of a renewed missional imagination for the Church in our generation: 

  • What feelings do we have as we approach church and mission? 
  • What is the current context for church and mission in Wales? 
  • What can we learn from the journey of the past to help us move on in the present? 
  • What is significant for our generation at this moment in history? 
  • How do we respond?

There were more than 400 church leaders present and we’re praying that their time at the conference will bear fruit in every place where they are established as leaders.
