Llanfihangel-y-Pennant to Bala: A walking guide

Mary Jones, a 15-year-old Welsh girl walked miles from Llanfihangel-y-Pennant to Bala in search of a Bible. By doing so Mary helped inspire the founding of Bible Society which gave birth to a worldwide Bible movement.
This dual-language walking guide (Welsh and English) takes you through the spectacular countryside of the old county of Meirionnydd, through the fields and along pathways that Mary may have walked. A linear route takes you on a 28-mile journey from an enchanting valley at the foot of Cadair Idris to the shores of Llyn Tegid crossing several miles of Snowdonia National Park.
The walking guide is divided into five sections of roughly five miles each which can be walked either as individual sections or as the whole 28-mile route.
The Guide should be used in conjunction with OS Map Explorer OL23.
