Fear, mortality, the need for protection, reflection, guidance and hope - all these come to life in Ollie Pike’s Psalm 27 Garden at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 2023.
RHS Tatton Flower Show in Cheshire is one of the highlights of a garden-lover’s calendar, and features beautiful gardens by leading designers. This year one of them, based on Psalm 27, was sponsored by Bible Society.
Bible Society’s garden inspired by Psalm 27 (‘The LORD is my light and my salvation …’) attracted thousands of visitors at the RHS Tatton Flower Show.
The Psalm 27 Garden is now open to the public in its permanent home, Sheffield General Cemetery, where it’s been called ‘an amazing miracle’. The cemetery is now a conservation area and a local nature reserve, owned by Sheffield City Council.
Sheffield General Cemetery was a place of solace to designer Ollie Pike during the pandemic. So it’s wonderful that the garden will have its permanent home at the cemetery, where it can be enjoyed by locals.
