A Bible for young people, designed with young people
Bible Society and Youth for Christ have teamed up to create a truly unique Bible. Young people helped us put this Bible together. We listened to their ideas and heard what really matters to them: information to help them learn and dig deeper into the Bible’s message, challenges to make them think about what they read and tools to help them act on it – as well as time to reflect and space to create through journalling, drawing and adding colour.
"I wish I’d owned this Bible when I was growing up. The translation is really clear and the extra content is so helpful. It brings context and clarity to difficult biblical concepts and provides opportunity for questioning, reflection and interactivity. I’m going to get a copy for everyone in my youth group."

We want to help you put the Bible in the hands of your young people. We’ve partnered with Youth for Christ to create a Bible that helps young people to explore their own responses to the Bible’s timeless message in a way that’s relevant to their lives.
The Bible is the most widely translated book in the world, and its enduring message of love and hope is needed now as much as ever. Yet for today’s generation of young people, the Bible can be seen as daunting, old-fashioned and irrelevant.
According to Youth for Christ’s Gen Z research project, while 32% of young people believe in God, the Bible doesn’t feature at all as an influence on the way they think about faith. We need to change this!
So how do we make the most important book in the world relevant for them? That is the challenge that Bible Society and Youth for Christ have teamed up to address.
It was agreed from the start that in order to create a Bible that truly speaks to today’s young people, they needed to be involved in its development.
Starting with a consultation day, followed by regular focus groups, we have designed a youth Bible using the ideas and feedback of the young people it will inspire. The outcome is a Bible that connects directly to their world.
No matter where a young person is on their faith journey, this Bible is for them.
"The Good News Bible helped me come to faith in Jesus. It was the first translation of the Bible that I wanted to read cover to cover as its language was so clear and accessible. I am delighted that a brand new version of the Good News Bible is available, packed full of engaging, helpful articles and interactive elements. I pray that a new generation of young people will discover the wonder and glory of God through the pages of this beautiful, exciting and fresh version of the Bible."
