Onesimus

A runaway slave mentioned in Paul's epistle to Philemon (also mentioned in Colossians 4.9). It seems that Onesimus had found his way to the place of Paul's imprisonment, where he converted to Christianity. Paul then pleaded with Philemon and others to treat him mercifully.
