The Bible in Welsh

Bible Society is the main publisher of the Welsh Bible. In 2014 the Beibl Cymraeg Newydd gyda Mynegair was published, and 2015 saw the publication in print for the first time of beibl.net, the newest Welsh Bible translation. Such was the eagerness of people across Wales to use this modern translation and share it with others that the first print run was sold out through pre-orders before it even reached the shops. Visit the Bible Society shop to find out more about our Welsh Bibles. Order your copy today: or buy copies to share with your local Welsh medium schools or chapels.

All three major translations of the Welsh Bible are also available online through various websites and apps:

Ap Beibl

Ap Beibl (the Bible app) was produced by Bible Society to ensure that the Bible in Welsh is available to you at your fingertips anytime, anywhere.

As well as meaning "Bible App", Ap Beibl is also a pun in Welsh meaning ‘Son of the Bible’. The app is easy to use and once it’s downloaded, it’s available to use without access to the internet.

The app includes most of the translations of the Bible in Welsh making it easy to compare them and expand your knowledge.

It is free to download and available for both iOS and Android Devices.
