Midian

Traditionally located in the northwest Arabian peninsula, where the Midianites lived. Mentioned especially in Exodus as the place to which Moses fled after killing an Egyptian and where Moses married a daughter of the priest of Midian. There is extensive debate about the religion of the Midianites.
