An ancient Israelite city located in the territory of the tribe of Issachar. It was the location of battles and the place where Jehu confronted Queen Jezebel and encouraged her eunuchs to throw her from a window (which they did). Her body was scattered by wild dogs so much that there was nothing left to bury.
