Prayer for prison ministry

Please pray for our new work in prisons and for freedom in Christ for the prisoners who hear God's word.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
Isaiah 61.1 (ESV)

• Please pray for those in prison, both prisoners themselves and the chaplains who care for and support them.
• Lord, as we introduce our new resouces for prisons, may all those who access and experience them have their lives changed for good.
• Heavenly Father, as we reflect on and pray for those in prison, please soften our hearts and help us to be there for those who society is so quick to reject. No sheep is too lost to you Lord, so may we be the warmth heart and welcome they so desperately need.
