Navigating the shop website

If you are searching for a particular product, the easiest way to find it would be to use the search bar at the top right of the page. Alternatively, if you are looking to browse a product selection, then using the category at the top of this page (e.g. Bibles) and if available, a sub category (e.g. Other Language) will show you the products that fall into that broad category. To further narrow your results, you may wish to use the filters on the right hand side of the page.

Using 'My Account'

You can login to your account using the link at the top left of the web site. From here you can change your contact preferences and view your order history.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password on the login screen.

Promotional codes

You may only use one promotional code per basket. 

Bulk-buy discounts

To claim a bulk buy discount, simply add the desired number of products to your basket. At the confirm basket checkout stage, you will need to enter the promotional code BULK when you have the qualifying quantity.

Refunds

In the unlikely event of you receiving an incorrect order or damaged goods, please return the item(s) within 14 days along with the delivery documentation and a covering note. We will then refund your money or replace any missing or damaged goods.

Any refund made to your credit or debit card shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant issuing bank and therefore be subject to any time delay as specified by the issuing bank. We will not be liable for any delay that is outside our control. A correct cardholder name and address must be supplied at the time of ordering where it is different from your name and address.

Contract: Terms and conditions

a) When you place an order for any material or product (in this agreement 'resources') by submitting a completed order form on the website your contract with us will commence when we, Bible Society Resources Ltd (BRSL), confirm acceptance of your order by automatic email and by letter ('Contract'). We agree, through our agents (IVP), that we will supply the resources listed on the said order.

b) These Terms and Conditions shall govern the Contract to the exclusion of any other Terms and Conditions.

c) Variations to these Terms and Conditions may from time to time be made available on the website.

Ordering

In submitting an order you acknowledge that:

a) All information and specifications relating to the resources produced by any publisher represented on the website are approximate and BRSL is not responsible for the accuracy of content provided. Covers may vary from those displayed on the website because of monitor and printer capabilities and last minute changes made by publishers.

b) BRSL may make any changes to the specification of the resources to conform to any statutory or European requirements.

Product Description

We attempt to be as accurate as possible. However BSRL does not warrant that descriptions of resources or other content of this website are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. Your sole remedy, should resources be other than described on the website, is to return the resources in an unused state.

Pricing Policy

a) The price of the resources shall be the price as quoted on the website on the date the order was placed, subject to any inadvertent pricing errors (whether technical or otherwise) by BSRL.

b) The price of the resources will be subject to a post and packing rate as shown on the order form page of the site.

c) The price of the resources does not include the cost of delivery to destinations outside of the United Kingdom. For such orders, you will pay the delivery charges as quoted on the website on the day of purchase.

d) The price of the resources includes any applicable Value Added Tax, which you shall be liable to pay to BRSL.

e) A price discount applies to selected products when purchased in bulk. The discount and quantity break applicable is stated on the product description for the selected titles only.

Credit Cards

a) Credit and debit cards accepted by BRSL are listed on the website.

b) All payments by credit or debit cards will be taken prior to dispatch of the resources. Any fraudulent use of credit or debit cards will be notified to the authorities along with any identification details that were supplied with the order.

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 7 working days of acceptance by us of your order for the resources by giving us written notice of withdrawal. BSRL shall credit your credit or debit card for the price of the cancelled order once the goods have been returned to our distribution address. Any credit will include any charges we made against small orders and any postage charge levied.

Warranty

BSRL warrants that the resources will correspond with the order at the time of delivery and will be free from defects on delivery. If BSRL is in breach of this warranty you shall notify BSRL within 14 working days from the date of discovery of the defect. On receiving a notice of failure of warranty BRSL may, at its sole option, either replace all the faulty resources or refund the price of the resources that are defective.

Export Terms

BSRL will be responsible for complying with any legislation or regulation governing the importation of resources into the country of destination.

Withdrawal of Resources

BSRL may withdraw the sale or distribution of any resources produced without prior notice, or liability, to you.

Access to the Website

BRSL grants you the right to use this website for your personal use but not to download or modify it or any part of it except with our prior written consent. This license does not include any resale or commercial use or derivative use of the website or its contents. No part of the site may be used for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Bible Society Resources Ltd or through participation in an affiliate scheme authorized by Bible Society Resources Ltd.

Disclaimer and Liability

a) This website is provided by Bible Society Resources Ltd on an ‘as is’ basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information content materials or products included on this site. You agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk.

b) To the full extent permissible by applicable law, Bible Society Resources Ltd disclaims all warranties express or implied including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

c) Bible Society Resources Ltd does not warrant that this website, its servers or email sent from IVP are free from viruses or other harmful components.

d) Bible Society Resources Ltd will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this website including but not limited to damages for consequential loss.

e) These exclusions of liability will not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Bible Society Resources Ltd or any of its employees or agents.

Applicable Law

The Contract and these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
