We’re bringing the Bible to life in Wales, where Bible Society began over 200 years ago, with contemporary Welsh translations, performing arts initiatives and an award-winning visitor centre.
Christine is Head of Bible Society Wales. She has lived in Wales since 2009. Learning the Welsh language has been an important part of her journey since then and Christine is happy to work in both Welsh and English. Christine’s role is to develop work of Bible Society in Wales. This includes developing key relationships and working with people throughout Wales. It also involves supporting Bible Society staff outside Wales to understand the particular needs and opportunities that arise within Wales. Contact Christine if you would like to discuss the development of Bible Society work in Wales.

Dai is based in Pontrypridd, South Wales. He is a poet, actor, storyteller and author and works for Bible Society as the Church Relationships Manager for Wales and the West Midlands of England. He loves to get out and about meeting and supporting churches and Action Groups to fundraise for the local and global mission of the Bible. You may also have come across some of his spoken word videos through Spoken Truth. Dai is originally from Ammanford, South Wales, his first language is English and he is married to Cath Woolridge of Sound of Wales. The staff team based in Wales is supported by the creative, fundraising and administration teams at Bible Society office in Swindon. The Bible Society Contact Centre can answer queries about all Bible Society resources, publications and activities and send out resources on request. If they don’t know the answer to your question straight away, they will find out.
This is the team that will process all donations and make sure that your money gets to the right place, in line with your wishes. We do not currently have Welsh-speaking staff in Swindon, but we are hoping to change that in the near future. Contact the Contact Centre with any general queries and to send in your donations.
