Three ways to share the Bible you may not have thought of

You could provide illustrated Bibles for a Sunday school class (like this one in Nepal) while buying or selling online. Find out how!

How often do you ‘think outside the box’ about giving? There are so many creative ways to approach supporting Bible mission.

1. Invest in Bible mission while you shop!

As you’d expect, easyfundraising makes giving a breeze. Just sign up on their website and select Bible Society as your chosen charity. Whenever you buy something from one of easyfundraising’s partner companies, we’ll get a donation on your behalf.

EasyFundraising partners with 7,000 brands and they’ve all signed up to give some of the money you spend back to charity. That’s a seriously easy way for you to put the Bible someone’s hands today.

2. Transform a car into a church-worth of Bibles

Now it gets really exciting. With the charity, Giveacar, you can donate your old vehicle. They’ll come to your house and fetch your car, motorbike or caravan for sale or scrap and give Bible Society 70–75 per cent. Imagine the difference that could make for a whole congregation anywhere from China to the Gulf.

3. Share the good news as you declutter

If you’re looking to pass some possessions on to a new home, then eBay gives you the opportunity to donate a percentage of the sale price to Bible Society. Simply search for ‘British & Foreign Bible Society’.

All your donations will be shown on your seller dashboard so you can keep track of how they are adding up and helping to offer the Bible to the world. You can also view other items supporters are selling on eBay to support Bible Society’s mission. Apologies in advance if you end up buying rather than selling, but it’s all in a very good cause!
