The National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast has become a fixture in Parliament’s timetable, but because of the coronavirus pandemic the event was held online. If you missed it, now’s your opportunity to attend.
The breakfast was hosted by Marsha de Cordova MP and the main speaker was the Bishop of Kensington, Rt Revd Dr Graham Tomlin, who spoke about ‘Hope and peace in a time of fear and suffering’. You can hear not only from Bishop Tomlin but from leading parliamentarians as well by viewing it now.
After the Prayer Breakfast, Bible Society hosted a webinar entitled, ‘Mission during lockdown and beyond’, designed for church leaders and Bible communicators who want to know more about the implications of the coronavirus crisis for the Church and the world.
Contributors from within and outside Bible Society spoke about how churches have responded to lockdown, how the virus will change the Church, and what resources we can offer to support you. You can watch the webinar on Youtube, or below.
At this crucial time in the life of the world, we want to pray for our political leaders, and to resource and inform our church leaders. We hope you find these events useful.
