Kyryl lives in Northern Ukraine with his sister Yana, three other children and his grandmother Olena.
A few weeks ago our team gave Olena her first Bible. When they returned to her village, she was keen that her grandchildren started to read the Bible too. She’d been enjoying it, she said, and wanted the children to benefit.
So, Kyryl received his Bible.
Anatoliy Raychynets from the Ukrainian Bible Society asked him if he knew who was depicted on the cover. Kyryl looked at the picture of Jesus and said he didn’t know. He does now.
Our colleagues in Ukraine report that ‘time and again’ they ‘come across many people who never had a Bible before’ but want one now.
Thank you for your generosity which has made it possible for both Kyryl and his sister Yana to receive Bibles.
