Find out how you can twin your Bible with a new translation and see lives changed on an enormous scale
You will have seen the power of the Bible to change lives, in your own experience and among others in your church. Joshva Raja knows this too, and it’s the foundation for his work leading the International Bible Advocacy Centre (IBAC), which champions the role of the Bible in public life. In a previous career, Joshva trained mission workers to translate the Bible into the languages of the communities they served.
Hasn’t the Bible already been translated into every language? Not yet – in fact, the Bible is not available at all in more than half the world’s languages. People with no access to Scripture often belong to marginalised people groups. In these communities, the arrival of God’s word can have a transformative impact. Joshva’s former students have seen this first-hand as they work side by side with people in marginalised communities to translate the Bible into their language for the first time.
Bible Twinning is your opportunity to get involved in these amazing ministries. Mission teams working with the Bissa, Epie and Lyélé communities in West Africa would be so encouraged to know they have your support. You can twin your Bible with the first translations into one of these three languages. You’ll be standing with believers in these communities as they long for a deeper experience of God’s word and look forward to new opportunities to share the good news with their neighbours.
The Bissa community
More than three quarters of a million people speak Bissa. It’s one of 66 indigenous languages in Burkina Faso, and its speakers have only had access to the New Testament since 2000. You can help complete this life-changing work by twinning your Bible with theirs today.
The Epie community
Last September there were joyous celebrations in Southern Nigeria as Scripture arrived in the Epie-speaking communities for the first time. Bring more joy to these many thousands of people by helping provide complete Scriptures in Epie. Twin your Bible with the Epie Bible today.
The Lyele community
Christians who speak the Lyélé language in Sanguié Province of Burkina Faso have loved having the New Testament these past 20 years. Twinning your Bible with the in-progress Lyélé Old Testament will open up the power of God’s word for as many as two hundred thousand people.

What happens when you give money for someone to have a Bible? It helps people and changes lives. This is Andriy and Yana’s story.
Our first rider for 2022 is James Whitney, who completed his ride in February! This wasn’t the ideal time to be riding close to 200 miles, and James was often caught in some miserable weather.
