200-year-old Bible returns to Bala

Beibl 200 mlwydd oed yn dod adref

The Mary Jones Bible has returned to the town of Bala, in Wales, where it has been viewed by over three hundred and fifty people.

15-year-old Mary Jones saved for six years to afford the Bible and then walked 26 miles across the Welsh mountains to Bala to obtain her copy. Mary's journey inspired the formation of Bible Society.

The Bible was on display at Mary Jones World visitor centre, run by Bible Society, in Bala, North Wales for two days.
