My Bible: reasons to believe in the power of the Bible
'I set up an ice cream business in 2002 with the aim of making the most delicious ice cream available in the market. We want Christian principles run right through the company and we do our best to care for everybody who comes into contact with Jude’s.
We pray for our staff, suppliers and customers, try to always act in a just way and are very focussed on bringing joy and delight into peoples’ lives.
I suppose the most outward and visible thing that we do is give 10 per cent of our profits to charity, inspired by Leviticus 27.30, which says, “A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees belongs to the Lord: it is holy to the Lord” and though this can increase pressure on our finances we want to be as generous to our wider community as we can.'
