Your chance to win prizes!

Calling all doodlers, artists and journallers!

We would love to know how you have been using your copy of the Good News Bible – The Youth Edition. Show us your artistic side by sending in pictures of your doodling and journalling in order to be in with a chance of winning free Bible journalling supplies.

How to enter...

1. Choose a page of your Bible

Read your Good News Bible – The Youth Edition and see what the Bible has to say to you. Take a look in the margins and find an interactive element that inspires you! It could be an activity or colourable verse that you particularly like, or just blank space that’s next to one of your favourite passages. You can do one page, a double page or more!

2. Get inspired

Think about how you can engage creatively with the interactive elements and passages in your Youth Edition. You can draw, stick, do calligraphy, doodle or even paint. For inspiration, see the pictures below or look at Bible journalling websites such as holyhope.co.uk to find journalling supplies and more pictures!

3. Get journalling!

Go for it! You have nearly six weeks to complete your artwork, so don’t rush!

4. Up the ante

Challenge your friends to get involved. Can they make something better than you? Or, team up to make something even more creative together.

5. Take a photo

Take a photo of your creative work to send to us. You can take photos of one page, a double page spread or even multiple Youth Edition Bibles. Please ensure the lighting is of good quality and the photo is not blurred. Photos taken on smartphones with filters to enhance the lighting or colour are fine, but please don’t add emojis, text or stickers.

Entries containing people's faces or other personal details unfortuately can't be considered and will be deleted upon receipt. As lovely as we’re sure your faces are, we do not want to infringe on your privacy. Only photos displaying your artwork itself will be considered for the prizes.

6. Send it our way!

Email us your images, name and age with the subject line 'GNBY Photos' to competitions@biblesociety.org.uk by 12 September 2019. We’d really appreciate it if you could give us a few sentences about why you like The Youth Edition, too!

If you would like inspiration, take a look at these:
