Passover

Called in Hebrew Pesach. One of the most important Jewish festivals which commemorates the liberation of the people of God from slavery in Egypt as recorded in the book of Exodus. The day begins in the Jewish calendar on the 15th day of Nissan. In Christianity Jesus was crucified at the time of Passover, so many people commemorate the last supper that Jesus had with his disciples with a Passover type meal.
