Moses

A leader of Israel. Born to Hebrew parents in Egypt, according to the book of Exodus he was brought up in the Pharaoh's palace, before killing an Egyptian and fleeing to Midian. He led God's people out of slavery in Egypt in the exodus and led them in their wandering in the wilderness. This included receiving the commandments from God which laid down how God's people were to live in relation to God and one another.
