Herod Agrippa I

A grandson of Herod the Great, Herod Agrippa ruled Judea between AD 41-44. He is the Herod mentioned in Acts 12.1 who was said to have been struck by the angel of the Lord, eaten by worms and died. Jewish accounts, which are largely much more positive about his reign, report that he died suddenly after acute stomach ache in AD 44.
