Prayer for China 2

This month we're praying for China, particularly for the Church as it faces a tightening of regulations in the current politcal climate.

It was he who “gave gifts”; he appointed some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be evangelists, others to be pastors and teachers. He did this to prepare all God's people for the work of Christian service, in order to build up the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4.11-12 (GNB)

Kua Wee Seng, Director of the United Bible Societies China Partnership, has asked us to join him in prayer: 

My prayer is that the Church will continue to grow numerically and spiritually, being rooted in the word of God and planted in the soil of China.

• Please pray for the Church to become a blessing to communities and to the nation of China, and a blessing all over the world by playing a role in global mission.
• Ask God for more funding for Bible printing and distribution, for more trained pastors and Bible resources to shepherd millions of Chinese Christians, and for wisdom for Chinese church leaders ministering in a difficult climate.
