Children love stories – especially Bible stories when they’re interactive, engaging and fun.

Open the Book began in 1999 and since then thousands of school children have discovered Bible stories, during assemblies and collective worship.

It’s a three-year rolling programme of themed and dramatised storytelling at no charge to primary schools. Teams of volunteers from the local church or churches use drama, mime, props, and costumes to bring the Bible to life.

At the information session there will be an opportunity to experience an Open the Book act of collective worship/assembly, and to find out why head teachers and children value it, along with a chance to ask your questions.
