Registered Storytellers & Trainers

For first login as a registered Storyteller

All storytellers agree to...

  • stick to the script and present the story simply, without addition or deviation following the guidelines in the Open the Book Handbooks
  • allow each story to speak for itself, as a Bible story, not as a sermon
  • liaise closely and sensitively with schools, and be mindful of the educational environment
  • make minimal demands on schools and be aware of being invited visitors
  • show respect and sensitivity to those of other faiths, and to those with none
  • fulfil the relevant safeguarding requirements as outlined in the OtB Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct
  • uphold the copyright of Open the Book material.

Storytellers must be accompanied by members of staff during all assemblies/acts of Collective Worship.

Gofynnir i bob arweinydd tîm drafod ein Côd Ymarfer gyda’r tîm.  Dylai pob Storïwr gytuno i:

  • Gadw at y sgript a chyflwyno’r stori, heb ychwanegiadau na byrfyfyrio, gan ddilyn canllawiau Llawlyfrau Agor y Llyfr.
  • Caniatáu i bob stori siarad drosti ei hun, fel stori o’r Beibl, nid fel pregeth.
  • Cysylltu’n agos ac yn sensitif gydag ysgolion, a bod yn ystyriol o’r amgylchedd addysgol.
  • Gwneud cyn lleied ag sy’n bosib o alwadau ar ysgolion a bod yn ymwybodol mai  ymwelwyr ar wahoddiad yw’r tîm.
  • Dangos parch a sensitifrwydd tuag at grefyddau eraill, ac at rai sydd heb ffydd.
  • Cyflawni gofynion diogelu perthnasol.
  • Cynnal hawlfraint deunydd Agor y Llyfr.

Rhaid i aelod o staff bod gyda’r  Storïwyr yn ystod pob un Gwasanaeth/Addoliad ar y cyd.
