Refugees from Syria and Iraq are finding hope in the Bible. Please help more refugees with practical support and Bibles this Christmas.

I want to give

The Bible’s message of love and hope is changing lives in the Middle East. We are also providing practical support for refugees.

Alisar's story

Alisar is just 18. She was married at 14 and has two children. She moved to Jordan from her homeland of Syria because of the war there.

‘The war has affected everybody,’ she told us. ‘Even the children are affected.’

A local church in Jordan helped Alisar when she arrived in the country. She came to church for help, but soon discovered love from God and the Christians there. She became interested in what he had to say to her.

‘I wanted to read more and more the Bible,’ she told us. ‘I read the whole book of John in one night.’

Our team helped Alisar to study the Bible and gave her aid and support in her new country. She found it changed her life.

‘When I read the Bible, all the pressure around me is relieved,’ she told us. ‘I read the Bible every day. I found that God is love.’
