Bible studies barely exist in China because there’s nobody to lead them. Will you train a group leader today?

The Bible reveals God’s heart for you, and the more you study it, the more your heart opens up to God. Experiencing God’s word in community is a key part of the Christian life. But someone receiving Jesus in China is a lot less likely than you are to have this experience.
You can open the Bible for a Chinese Christian today. The Church over there is growing every minute and urgently needs lay leaders. Your donation of £15 will train someone to lead a study group, powerfully growing the faith of a new believer.
Elder Wang needs your help
She’s got 700 names on her waiting list for Bible studies. ‘The need for shepherding is great,’ Wang says. ‘We have members who only come on special occasions like Easter and Christmas, and also those who have backslidden and stopped coming all together.’
These nominal Christians are finding a deeper faith through group study. Wang says: ‘In small learning groups, people find it easier to ask questions, open up and share.’
Your support is making this possible. ‘This is the first time we are having the small Bible-learning group format in our churches using discipleship materials donated by Bible Society. And we are seeing lives change.’
Wang oversees a church in Feicheng, which is full of people who would love to join one of these groups. She needs more leaders so her church can run more classes. Your donation today will train more leaders and help churches like Wang's get through their long waiting list. Will you disciple a Chinese believer today?

New Bible gets green light from Chinese authorities
The Chinese authorities have given the go-ahead for the printing of Bible Society’s translation of the whole Bible into the Inner Mongolian minority language. The approval this year caps an amazing project that has taken 18 years to complete, with the translation itself being completed in late 2021.
