Bible Society is on a mission to see Christians confident in the Scriptures, a changed conversation about the Bible in culture and the transformative embodiment of the Bible in the world. As a key part of the Bible Society digital strategy, we are creating a new Chinese digital hub to engage global Chinese audiences. 

We are looking for a creative and skilful candidate who is able to creatively lead this digital development with support from the digital team and international mission team, to support the online communications. The role will primarily serve the needs of the Chinese mission team but also support the broader digital needs of the international mission team. 

Within this role, you will play a vital part in two areas: 

1.         Lead the development of a Chinese digital hub in accordance with Bible Society strategy and Chinese audience research

2.         Manage communication across various social media platforms in Chinese languages, reflecting Bible Society’s tone of voice 

You will need to display high levels of creativity in translating strategic objectives and audience insights into specific digital designs and ideas. You will need to be proactive in your approach to these duties and be able to drive the implementation of ideas with minimum supervision. The post involves a high level of interaction with staff at all levels as well as with audiences, and you must combine a professional approach with a friendly and welcoming manner.
