It continues as a marathon walk to overcome the self-interest of Parliament and country. And becomes the public voice of an unstoppable movement that released millions from their chains.

The Walk was filmed in the north of Scotland by an award-winning team of Murray Watts (The Miracle Maker), Norman Stone (Man Dancin’, Shadowlands), Mike Fox (The Killing Fields), and Roger Murray Leach (Local Hero).

The Walk issues a challenge and inspiration for all of us to oppose injustice and inhumanity. With discussion and teaching materials for schools, churches and other groups, it is a powerful springboard to groups and individuals marking the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade bill.
