PRAYING

At Bible Society, we are passionate about the Bible and what it has to say to us today.

We not only believe in prayer but also depend on it.

Please join us in the work to make the Bible heard by supporting us in prayer.  

Our prayer page is updated weekly and prayer requests can be downloaded three times a year. 

ONGOING PRAYER

Give thanks to the Lord:

• for his goodness
• for Bible Society’s worldwide work, spanning more than 200 years
• for the precious gift of the Bible, in which God reveals himself to us and shows us the way of salvation he has provided

Please pray:

• that we know, and are obedient to God’s will.  ‘If the Lord does not build the house, the work of the builders is useless.’ Psalm 127.1
• for the protection of Bible Society staff around the world. Many are working in difficult, and even oppressive, situations. Pray for their wellbeing
• for all our communications to supporters, that the right information would get to the right people at the right time. Please pray that each process will run smoothly
• that God will provide all our needs to fulfil this great task
