Rush – Our challenge to youRush - Live it | Give it

What’s the Rush?
Our urgent call to young people to face up to the issue of Bible poverty. It’s a call that will:

  • Impact their own lives with the Bible.
  • See them putting the Bible to work in the lives of others.

Rush is about taking on board the full impact of what the Bible has to say – the moment spirit and truth collide – and a new life begins.

It’s about the Bible being so much more than a book – a living word that changes lives.

The Rush invitation

‘live it and give it’, with the ‘it’ being the Bible. For those who say ‘yes’ it means:

  • Moving from just reading the words to engaging with their life-changing message and putting it to work.
  • Inspiring and helping others do the same – including raising money so people who long for the Bible in their own language can have it.
  • Join us on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and follow our story.

Group of peopleGive it - The Kilimanjaro challenge
We have the Bible on tap. Meanwhile, millions still wait to have it in their language or at a price they can afford. That’s Bible poverty.

The need to respond is urgent. There’s a rush to get the Bible out there and put it to work. That’s why Bible Society is leading a team climbing Kilimanjaro in March 2010. The Bible is changing the world for thousands of people affected by HIV/AIDS in Tanzania and it’s time for us to get off our comfy chairs and do something that can help to change the world for thousands more.

The money raised will see the Bible working in the response to HIV/Aids in Tanzania.

What you can do

You can get involved by:
